Strawfields Campsite Ilfracombe North Devon

Strawfields is an 8-acre smallholding that provides facilities for campers and glampers, It is located in a rural setting just outside the Devon village of West Down. The towns of Ilfracombe, Lynton, and Lynmouth are close by.

There are 4 shepherds huts available with the largest sleeping 2 adults plus 2 children. The huts were made by local carpenters. They all include comfortable beds and a wood burner.

Facilities onsite include:

Wooden shower block with hot showers, flushing loos and veranda.
Pizza nights in the pop-up pizza kitchen.
Fire pits are available.
Play area.

This area of Devon has beautiful countryside, yet you are close to the sea where you can enjoy surfing, rock pooling and fishing.

There are many family-friendly attractions like the Ultimate Adventure Centre, The Milky Way, The Big Sheep and Exmoor Zoo.

If arriving by foot from Lynton Cross bus stop (Texaco Garage on the Hill), walk along the road to Woolacombe (please note this is a busy main road), turn left down the lane to Marwood. We are just down the lane on the right hand side.
